Jörg joined Wellington Partners in late 1999 and was closely involved in growing the firm from €55m to over €800m assets under management today. Jörg was one of five General Partners actively involved in driving the overall strategy of the firm during the last decade, from fundraising to investment strategy including taking investment decisions.
Prior to Jörg’s career in venture capital, he joined a high-tech start up company in the field of speech recognition. Jörg experienced the complete start-up cycle starting from two people in one room through to growing the organisation, raising venture capital, generating revenue traction and ultimately selling the company to a strategic buyer.
