Jörg is a Venture Partner at ETF, based in Munich. He focuses on finding new investments as well as assisting with ETF’s portfolio of companies in German speaking Europe.

Before ETF, Jörg was a partner for 10 years at Wellington Partners, the German venture capital firm. During his time there, he helped grow the firm from €55m to over €800m of assets under management. He has extensive experience from working on the boards of a number of successful venture-backed companies across Europe.

Prior to Jörg’s career in venture capital, he was involved in a successful high-tech start up specialising in speech recognition.

Jörg has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an MBA from INSEAD.
