Jörg Überla joins team at ETF

Environmental Technologies Fund (ETF) is pleased to announce that Jörg Überla has joined ETF as a Venture Partner. Jörg worked with the team at ETF for much of 2009 and his appointment reflects the success of this work. His focus will be on helping ETF invest in great growth companies in German-speaking Europe; companies that also deliver significant environmental benefits.
Prior to working with ETF, Jörg spent 10 years at Wellington Partners as one of five General Partners closely involved in growing the firm from €55m to over €800m assets under management. Previously, Jörg joined a high tech speech recognition company at the start up stage and experienced the complete process starting from two people in one room through to growing the organisation, raising venture capital, generating revenue traction and ultimately selling the company to a strategic buyer.
Jörg will continue to be based in Munich where he will work on identifying and securing new investment opportunities for ETF in German-speaking Europe.
