ETF works with entrepreneurs to build durable new technologies and services that are environmentally beneficial, whether that be establishing new companies and markets or expanding existing ones. Over the decades our team has supported entrepreneurs in building over 100 companies. As knowledgeable investors in Cleantech, with far reaching experience and outstanding track records, we bring added top tier networks and contacts to entrepreneurs. Being backed by major institutional investors, we have the resources required to build big businesses.

While we will consider investments across all sectors in Cleantech, we typically prefer companies that have high levels of intellectual property and highly scaleable business models. We have a strong deal flow, often including proprietary transactions. This is a result of the team deep networks which derive from our extensive experience spanning professional advisors, other private equity and venture capital funds, companies and entrepreneurs.

ETF intends to act as a lead investor, mainly investing in companies at the post revenue stage with the ability to invest both at earlier and later stage. Typically ETF will commit €5m-12m to a company over more than one investment round.
